I have shared this maxi skirt before, but I HAD to be share it again! It is such a gorgeous skirt to get you through the holiday season, especially if you live in the south were the temps tend to be high. I’m definitely planning on wearing this beauty to one of many Thanksgiving feasts! I purchased this maxi on Amazon for $21.99. It has been such a faithful wardrobe piece helping me transition into every season. Seriously though, this skirt has been worn by me every single season. I am a strong believer that the best closet items are those that never go out of season. Continue reading “A Twirl-Worthy Maxi Skirt”
Happy Friday! I’m sure it comes as no surprise to you all that I LOVE me some bright colors. I do, however try to darken up my wardrobe from time to time, especially during this time of the year. You will usually see me out and about in bubble gum pink or teal, but I have found some fun pieces in darker colors! I’m so proud of myself for incorporating a few darker hues into my closet. It feels like this weekend flew by! I cannot believe it is already Monday. Halloween is upon us, and then begins prep for the most wonderful time of the year! I absolutely love late fall when we are prepping for Thanksgiving and decorating for Christmas. It really is the best time of the year. Continue reading “Mini Handbag With F&W Style”
Hey y’all! I am so excited that Halloween is in 1 week! I would love to hear your halloween traditions and plans. As a newly married couple in a new home, I am looking forward to building new holiday traditions this year. So far, all we have in store is giving out yummy candy to trick or treaters. Mike did finally let me get one of those lazy laser lights for our house with a bunch of skeletons to shine over our graveyard. Yesss! Continue reading “A Classic Chambray + Knotted Skirt”

Happy Saturday, y’all! I hope you are all enjoying this fall weekend wherever you may be. Hopefully some of y’all are actually experiencing Fall weather! DFW got some gorgeous weather earlier this week, but of course the temperatures went right back up yesterday. If you live in Texas, you get used to this. 40 degrees one day, and 90 degrees the next. Even during the holidays! As always, I digress. Continue reading “Classic Black in a Brand I Love”
My favorite way to dress, whether it be for going out or work, is semi-casual. It allows me to be comfortable while still feeling “FABULOUSSSS” (insert sassy girl emoji here). Continue reading “Dressing Semi Casual With Sparkle”
Happy October, friends! Who else is in disbelief that it’s already October?! I am really looking forward to this month. Our old home was not the best Trick or Treating spot (all the kids went to bigger neighborhoods), but supposedly our new home has lots of kiddos out on Halloween night. I am looking forward to dressing up and giving out candy this year (#adulting). I am still debating how to decorate the house. Spooky or cute. What do you think? I also think it’s fun that Friday the 13th will be this month. There will also be a ton of fun stuff happening at work. Carving pumpkins, creating a pumpkin patch in the classroom, fall fest, and more. Continue reading “Bow Mules”

Happy Monday! I’m not sure if “happy” is the word most would use, but I’m trying to be positive! I cannot believe it is finally officially Fall and that it is almost October. Where does the time go?!

It’s just about that time of year: bootie season! I love booties because they are the gateway to fall & winter! Once it’s time to throw on your booties, it means the cooler temps are coming. It may not be super cool yet, but that should not stop you from pulling out your booties. I also love pairing mine with shorts and a cozy cardigan during this time of year. September is finally here, and I’m crossing my fingers that scarf weather will be here soon! Regardless, I pulled out my favorite light-weight scarf and styled it 5 ways for Fall. You can grab any oblong scarf and give these looks a try for yourself! I won’t lie, style number 4 made me feel very “Thelma & Louise”.
