Hey y’all! I am so excited that Halloween is in 1 week! I would love to hear your halloween traditions and plans. As a newly married couple in a new home, I am looking forward to building new holiday traditions this year. So far, all we have in store is giving out yummy candy to trick or treaters. Mike did finally let me get one of those lazy laser lights for our house with a bunch of skeletons to shine over our graveyard. Yesss! Continue reading “A Classic Chambray + Knotted Skirt”

Happy Saturday, y’all! I hope you are all enjoying this fall weekend wherever you may be. Hopefully some of y’all are actually experiencing Fall weather! DFW got some gorgeous weather earlier this week, but of course the temperatures went right back up yesterday. If you live in Texas, you get used to this. 40 degrees one day, and 90 degrees the next. Even during the holidays! As always, I digress. Continue reading “Classic Black in a Brand I Love”
My favorite way to dress, whether it be for going out or work, is semi-casual. It allows me to be comfortable while still feeling “FABULOUSSSS” (insert sassy girl emoji here). Continue reading “Dressing Semi Casual With Sparkle”

Mike and I had the most incredible wedding on June 24, 2017. We waiting a LONG time to tie the knot (almost 9 years together, and a 2 year engagement), but that made it all the more special. I figured it is about time I share some pics and details from our wedding. Continue reading “Our Wedding”
Happy October, friends! Who else is in disbelief that it’s already October?! I am really looking forward to this month. Our old home was not the best Trick or Treating spot (all the kids went to bigger neighborhoods), but supposedly our new home has lots of kiddos out on Halloween night. I am looking forward to dressing up and giving out candy this year (#adulting). I am still debating how to decorate the house. Spooky or cute. What do you think? I also think it’s fun that Friday the 13th will be this month. There will also be a ton of fun stuff happening at work. Carving pumpkins, creating a pumpkin patch in the classroom, fall fest, and more. Continue reading “Bow Mules”
Tulle Skirt: Was a gift from my aunt. I have linked a few others below! // Top: Pleione (Sold out, but similar here & here.) // Earrings: Bauble Bar // Sunglasses: Target // Valentino Dupes: Halogen purchased in-store at Nordstrom Rack (Similar, heeled pair here.)
Happy Monday! I’m not sure if “happy” is the word most would use, but I’m trying to be positive! I cannot believe it is finally officially Fall and that it is almost October. Where does the time go?!

It’s just about that time of year: bootie season! I love booties because they are the gateway to fall & winter! Once it’s time to throw on your booties, it means the cooler temps are coming. It may not be super cool yet, but that should not stop you from pulling out your booties. I also love pairing mine with shorts and a cozy cardigan during this time of year. September is finally here, and I’m crossing my fingers that scarf weather will be here soon! Regardless, I pulled out my favorite light-weight scarf and styled it 5 ways for Fall. You can grab any oblong scarf and give these looks a try for yourself! I won’t lie, style number 4 made me feel very “Thelma & Louise”.

I was originally planning a great post all about fun donut clothing items and accessories, but I just can’t bring myself to do it after all that has happened in my great state. I still have linked a few of the fun items above, but I figured this post would be a good one to share some relief efforts for the aftermath of the hurricane. Why? Well…because donuts make everyone happy, and I think everyone could use a smile right now. Continue reading “Donut Worry! Donate to Help the Animals Affected by Hurricane Harvey”
In a few days it will be September! Although September 1st is not the technical beginning of fall, I still put out my fall decor. I am extra excited for fall this year because Mike and I recently moved into a new home, which means so many new decorating opportunities. Our home has much more space for pumpkins, candles, fall leaves and pine cones! Continue reading “Fall Florals”
