Hey y’all! I’m back from my long blogging hiatus! Before I begin with my fun maternity finds, I wanted to fill you all in on some changes I’m making to my blog. In the past, I used this blog as a way to primarily share my fashion sense and to grow in the fashion world. During my break, I learned that I still love sharing my outfits and finds, however I am not a fan of the general blogging community rules, expectations and attitude. I mean no disrespect, and if I wanted to pursue this as more than just a hobby, then i’d be on board.
But alas! I am bringing this bloggety blog back to what I originally wanted it to be. Simply a place to share my finds with you all. No need for fancy pictures, no “article” like posts about how to be a blogger and more about me and my life! My next step is to get rid of my old blog instagram and keep my stuff private. Along with my shift in style, I am also shifting The Teacher in Tulle to be a place for my family and friends. With a baby on the way, I get more and more weirded out by strangers on instagram! Anyone feel the same way?
What I will continue doing is sharing my style as well as where I find particular pieces. On top of that, I would like to add some cute mommy and me posts with my daughter (hence the more private attitude I am having) as well as share anything else exciting in my life with my sweet family. Perhaps you may now consider this a lifestyle blog? Either way it is my blog and I aim to keep it personal!
Moving on to pregnancy, it is crazy that I am finally in the 3rd trimester! Last time I blogged we had just found out our tiny babe was a little girl. This pregnancy has been such a rewarding and stressful time all in one. Her due date seems so close yet so far away! My husband and I are excited to meet our Claire Bear, yet we are soaking in the alone time while we have it. I will definitely share more about my pregnancy and Claire in the future!
Today I went shopping at Target with my best friend. I found some cute maternity pieces that I just had to share!
1. Tie Waist Shirt Dress
This dress was an easy pick. The colors are vibrant and the tie waist makes the bump pop! I’m also loving that it has a vintage feel.
2. Floral Asymmetrical Flounce Top
This top screams SUMMER!! I’m a teacher, so I am most definitely counting down the days. Anything with a summery flora pattern is a must-have in my book. My favorite detail are the asymmetrical sleeves and the big ruffle. I tried on this top both with and without a belt. A belt is always a great way to accentuate the bump!
3. Flutter Sleeve Woven Top
PINK!! Say no more. And those sleeves! This top gives me all the heart eyes.
