Wow! How crazy it is that Thanksgiving is tomorrow?! I’m turning into a running record over here, but I cannot believe how quickly this year is going by. Not that i’m complaining, I’ve been ready for a week vacation from work for a while now! What are your thanksgiving plans? I’d love to hear how y’all celebrate with your friends and families.
My family always tends to be more casual for Thanksgiving. I love the idea of dressing up for a formal Thanksgiving feast, but dressing for comfort seems to my best bet. My husband and I eat until we are pretty much in a food coma. I mean, isn’t that what this holiday is for? Food and family. Jeans and a cute comfy top for the win! Of course I have to add a pop of color to every outfit; hence the earrings.
This babydoll blouse has been the most worn item in my closet this season! I purchased it back and September, and I feel like I have worn it every week since. It is the perfect piece to throw on to add feminine flair to an otherwise casual outfit. Tops that work so perfectly with jeans are the best in my book! I love the bell sleeves and how it is a loose fit. As always, the best part is the price, at only $15! Perfect for a teacher fashionista’s budget.
Speaking of price, I want to emphasize that my blog is aimed for those that do not want to break the bank! My goal is to bring affordable fashion to the forefront. I do spend a bit more on shoes and a few essential pieces, however I plan to keep most of my content at an affordable price range.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, friends! I am ready to be surrounded by loved ones. And then come Friday, I FINALLY get to decorate for Christmas! My husband and I shook on waiting until the day after Thanksgiving to decorate. If I had it my way the house would already be all Christmas, and if he had it his way I would have to wait until December 1st. Compromise, my friends!
