Hey y’all! I am so excited that Halloween is in 1 week! I would love to hear your halloween traditions and plans. As a newly married couple in a new home, I am looking forward to building new holiday traditions this year. So far, all we have in store is giving out yummy candy to trick or treaters. Mike did finally let me get one of those lazy laser lights for our house with a bunch of skeletons to shine over our graveyard. Yesss!

One thing I notice I wear ALL THE TIME this season is my chambray. To be fair, I wear it every season, however I wear it the most in the Fall. I think it is important for everyone to have one good chambray to last them for every season. Mine was purchased 5 years at TJ Maxx, and I’m still rocking it anytime I can. It’s definitely a timeless piece that is a staple in my wardrobe. I have linked some other fabulous ones above.

How fun is this tie front skirt? I saw the bow in the front and immediately HAD to have it. Anyone surprised? It is meant to land higher on the thighs, however it falls almost to my knees (short girl probs), however i’m not complaining. The length makes it appropriate for work (if i’m brave enough to wear it around a bunch of pre k kiddos) and to dress up for a formal event.

I paired this outfit with my favorite BP. scarf from Nordstrom. It is linked above…and is very affordable! Grab it before it sells out (again)!

In other news, I received our family photos for the Christmas card yesterday, and Mike and I LOVE them. I cannot wait to share them…but am trying my hardest to hold out until after the cards get sent out.

Have a happy week.

♥Katie
