It’s just about that time of year: bootie season! I love booties because they are the gateway to fall & winter! Once it’s time to throw on your booties, it means the cooler temps are coming. It may not be super cool yet, but that should not stop you from pulling out your booties. I also love pairing mine with shorts and a cozy cardigan during this time of year.
My favorite pair (that I am wearing for this shoot) are sold out, but I have linked a few fun, similar pairs above! Click the pics to shop.
Now for a life update. I have been SUPER busy with school being back, but I am definitely in my happy place. I have been back to work for 3 weeks, and I am loving my new class. This is such a fun time of year because I get to spend these first few weeks really getting to know my students. It’s nice not having to test right away, although that is coming very soon.
I’m excited for October to come so we can begin halloween season! Some of my favorite things to do with my class during this time of year is compare different pumpkins using thinking maps, create a pumpkin patch center (see last year’s here), carve a pumpkin as a science experiment & of course our school’s fall festival. Bring on the spooky festivities!
I am also in such a peaceful, happy place in my home life. Mike and I have been married for just about 3 months and we couldn’t be happier! It took me a bit to get used to my new last name, but being a teacher made that switch pretty easy. It’s hard to forget you changed your name when there are a bunch of 3 year olds saying it repeatedly, and it’s SO darn cute!
Thanks for checking in and have an amazing weekend!
