Fall is right around the corner, which means its time to start stocking up on closet staples for the season! If there is one thing you need to know about me, it’s that I LOVE bright colors and ruffles, regardless of the season. I will never leave those two details behind just because they are not acceptable. To me, thinking fuchsia is not a fall or winter color is not acceptable! 🙂

You may recognize this outfit from my teacher planner review a few weeks ago. This top is absolutely gorgeous! I saw it on the hanger when on a shopping trip to Nordstrom a month ago, and knew I had to have it. It is the perfect top to wear with shorts or work appropriate bottoms. In fact, I will most likely be wearing this top on the first day of school! If pink is not your color, this top is also available in 5 other colors. Click photos above to shop. ^
I paired my ruffled top with these distressed hem jeans and my Halogen Loafers. The jeans were a Target find. I purchase most of my jeans at Target because they have a fabulous selection at great prices. What is funny is I usually buy cropped jeans, because they fit me like regular pants (#shortgirlproblems). My loafers were a #Nsale find. Last year I found a pair of nude flats that I wore practically every day. Long story short, those eventually wore out (although I still wear them). I figured these slides would be a perfect upgrade, and I’m sure they will last me a long time!
