Polka Dot Maxi Skirt

Photographer: Krysten Robertson

I am so excited to share this maxi skirt with y’all! I mean, just look at it! The twirly factor alone makes this skirt amazing. Let me just tell you, it is SO comfortable and looks even better in person. I have been on the lookout for an amazing maxi with large polka-dots. I shopped around my favorite spots and could not find anything I REALLY liked. Not only did I want a fabulous polka-dot maxi, but I wanted it to be affordable. C’mon guys! I’m a teacher. I am not about to drop $100 on a skirt.

My hunt for the perfect skirt led me to the number 1 online shopping place (for anything other than clothing in most cases), Amazon! I have never tried shopping on Amazon until the day I purchased this beaut. “Maxi Polka-dot Skirt” was entered in the search box, and voila! I found this amazing one for under $25. I decided to take the plunge and order it. If I didn’t like it, I could always return it. Obviously I loved the skirt, which leads to todays post!

There is nothing I love more than adding pops of color in any outfit. We all know my “go to” is pink. Pink always goes so well with black (and polka-dots)! I paired my new favorite statement earrings, bracelet and bag with this skirt. I also added some pink to my feet with those amazing bow flats which are from the kids department (If you have tiny feet like me, I seriously recommend shopping in the children’s department as much as possible…you can find so much for a cheaper price).

I decided to stick with a simple white shirt to complete this looks. If I go intense on the accessories, I try to tone down in other areas (in this case, the top). The shirt gives this outfit a casual, every day feel making it an option I could easily wear to work.
