What I Wore [to Work] Wednesday: First Week Back to Work

Hey y’all! I’m officially back to work, which means i’m back to my “What I Wore [to work] Wednesday posts. I am excited to share my outfits that I wear on an everyday basis. I love the fancy photoshoots, but they just aren’t real life (as much as I wish they were)!

My plan is to post what I wear each week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but i’m going to be real. There will be many days I may forget to take that morning selfie, and you do not want to see how I look after a full day with littles (although i’m sure I’ll look better than i’ll smell at the end of the day).

On to my first week back to school! (I love that I get to say “back to school” for my job!)

Skinnies: Target // Flats: Halogens at Nordstrom Rack. The exact pair are no longer online, but this pair is the same brand/style and price. // Earrings: H&M // Wrap Bracelet: Boho Betty >> Enter THETEACHERINTULLE at checkout to receive a 20% discount off your purchase

Monday was the convocation for our school district, so we all had to wear our zone T-shirts. Occasionally i’ll wear a t-shirt. When I do, I try to dress it up a bit. I paired the tee with some skinnies and added a few fun jewelry pieces. Those flats are one of my new “back to school” purchases. I will definitely be rocking those ALL.THE.TIME!

Jeans: Target // V-Neck: Target // Cardigan: New York & Co. // Necklace: Stella and Dot // Pink Wrap Bracelet: Boho Betty >> Enter THETEACHERINTULLE at checkout to receive a 20% discount off your purchase // Flats: TOMS (These gold ones are discontinued)

We spent all of Tuesday on campus doing in-service training. I planned my outfit for this day knowing I would be sitting for hours at a time. Jeans and a comfy V-Neck for the win! As always, I made sure my accessories were on point.

Pants: Stylus (JC Penney) // V-Neck: Target // Cardigan: Target (a couple years ago) // Flats:  Nordstrom Rack (Similar pairs here and here) // Earrings: Francescas

Another day, another cardigan and v-neck. I feel like that could be considered my “uniform” at work. I paired a bright colored cardi with my favorite pink pants and pointy toed flats. Also, a white v-neck is a great “go to” whenever I wear bright colors.

Another detail I try to focus on are my accessories. I always look for an accessory that matches a clothing item i’m wearing. The pink studs are the same shade as the pants, therefore they were perfect for today!

There you have it! My first “What I Wore [to Work] Wednesday” post of the school year. As you can see, my outfits are not as elaborate as my fashion posts. I try to remain somewhat casual at work, although that is not always the case.

Hope you all are having a fabulous week! I’ve been working on some fun content that I can’t wait to share with you!
