Pom Poms & Pink

PHOTOGRAPHY: Beckley & Co.

In a couple of days it will be AUGUST, and I cannot believe it! As this season is coming to a close (hopefully not too soon) I am taking advantage of wearing my summer pieces as often as possible! My favorite item of the summer has definitely been my pom pom clutch!  I love the basket weave and all the colors incorporated.

Engagement Photos

PHOTOGRAPHY: Krysten Robertson

Earlier this week, my fiancé and I traveled to the beach in Texas to take our second round of engagement photos. This has me reminiscing on our last engagement shoot that was set at the Dallas Arboretum. I just loved how the photos turned out. I wanted to share a couple of the pictures because the dress I wore is still available online, but it is selling out fast! Continue reading “Engagement Photos”

Hey y’all! I’m back with another bright outfit. When I look at these pictures, I think of the song “Black and Yellow” by Wiz Khalifa. You know, the one where “black and yellow” is played on repeat. Ofcourse I would change the lyrics to “Pink and Purple”. My two favorite colors!

Mellow Yellow

I invited my beautiful crew of bridesmaids over for Sunday Brunch so that we could begin some wedding planning. I absolutely LOVED the dress I wore, and felt that it MUST be shared on the blog. Especially since it is under $15.00!!

The dress is is from Shein. I love the color, the sleeves and the length!

I did not get too many photos in this outfit alone, but here are a couple.

These photos are a bit blurry as they are cell phone pictures taken by the fiancé.

I wore bright pink Jessica Simpson pumps that I have had for years.

My pink earrings were picked out to matched the heels. Earrings are from Nordstrom.

Have a bright Tuesday everyone!!

Maxi Dress and Vintage Jewelry

This maxi dress is perfect for the summer weather. I bought it in-store at H&M. It is no longer available on the website, however I have seen it in-store very recently (The same design is also available as a tank). It is a fabulous dress for date night.

I wore a slip underneath as the slits on the sides were cut a little too high for my comfort level. That being said, the slits made the dress even more comfortable in this HOT weather.

I wrapped up this looks with my Payless wedges. These wedges have been featured on the blog before. I wear them ALL the time. They are comfortable and cute!

Now onto my favorite part of this outfit; my jewelry! I wore some pieces that I purchased at a consignment shop years ago. Some of my best pieces of jewelry are less then $20.00 and from thrift stores! (Biggest tip…just always clean those earrings before you wear them the first time!!)

This set looks expensive, but it was only $15.00!

Thanks for checking in! This summer is flying by. I am looking forward to sharing some more Summer outfits in the very near future!
