I hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day. It is always great to have an extra day off, but do not forget why we are given this long weekend. I am thankful for those who have sacrificed their lives for us.
To get ready for this day, I dug in my closet and found some red, white and blue. No need to go shopping when you most likely have all the colors on hand. Today I am showing off two patriotic looks.
The first outfit is obviously much more toned-down in the patriotic department. I simply paired some white jeans with a blue top I found hanging in my closet. The top is from the online shop, Shein. I’ve mentioned this website before. It is very hit or miss, so ALWAYS check the reviews! I love this top, however it wrinkles very easily.
My pants will be worn all Summer long, I just know it!
I couldn’t possibly be ready for a Memorial Day event without some red. I wore this necklace.
My second look is much more colorful!
This dress is from Dillard’s. It is a wonderful staple in my closet as I have worn it countless times (even at work)! I purchased it back in the Fall, but any denim dress would look great with some red shoes and white earrings. 😉
My booties are vintage. I find so many great shoes at consignment shop and vintage stores!
And of course I wore my white H&M earrings. I posted a link to them in this post.
Thanks for checking in! Tomorrow I will be posting my first teaching blog post! It will be a reflection on my 2nd year of teaching as well as a list of some books I like to read to my class at the end of the year.
